Panhellenic at UC San Diego
The Panhellenic community at UC San Diego is comprised of 12 sororities, including 11 National Panhellenic Conference organizations and 1 associate member organization.
Panhellenic stands for service, scholarship, personal development and friendship.
Panhellenic provides opportunities to develop leadership skills, and make lifelong friendships. Each sorority is unique, and we invite you to find your home in Panhellenic through Formal Recruitment this Fall.
Why Sorority and Fraternity Life (SFL)?
Sorority and Fraternity Life (SFL) at UC San Diego affords its members more than just a lifetime membership in an organization.
The Panhellenic community prides itself on the pillars of women empowerment, service, and personal and intellectual development. Our members are sisters, leaders and scholars in and outside the community.
Letter from the President
My name is Shruti Vakharia and I am the 2020 Panhellenic
President at UCSD! We are the largest women-run student
organization on our campus at 12 chapters and about 1,100 members.
Each of our sorority chapters is a member or affiliate member of the
National Panhellenic Conference, each with its own set of values,
traditions, and philanthropic focuses. It is the common desire to
better ourselves and the world around us that unites our community as
one! We are committed to inclusion and welcoming everyone who is
looking to find their home in sorority life at UC San Diego.
The strong bonds of friendship and sisterhood between members of all sororities
is what connects Panhellenic. Members socialize and collaborate with each other throughout the community, creating a warm and supportive environment. Panhellenic also offers countless opportunities in academics, career development, and social engagement. Being a part of this organization has been one of the best parts of college, as it has given me life-long friends and a better understanding of who I am, especially as a leader. I invite you to learn more Panhellenic, and to explore all that it has to offer!
